Welcome to Friends of Shepherd Library

Friends of Shepherd Library (FOSL) was organized to promote this small public library located in Shepherd, Texas. Shepherd Public Library is historically underfunded, and the purpose of FOSL is to conduct fundraising, provide library volunteers and promote awareness of the needs of the Shepherd Public Library

Our long-term goal is to provide adequate funding, to supplement the funding provided by the City of Shepherd, which will allow the library to grow and continue to offer library-related services to the community.

The Internal Revenue Services (IRS) has determined that FOSL is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, which makes your donations tax-deductible. We look forward to your support and hope you visit our library soon.
